Having a direct competition with Maruti Suzuki’s Swift DZire, Honda Amaze that is a sub 4-meter sedan, will be introduced as the first diesel engine car in India for the company. Introducing 1.2 TSI petrol and 1.6 TDI diesel variants of Polo, the German auto maker also has Cross up, an automatic transmission version of Volkswagen Polo under the hood. Having a strong belief in innovation and technology, Volkswagen plans to introduce Cross Up as an entry level car in India under its brand wagon.
